The heroine Rosalinde takes refuge in the forest of the Ardennes, accompanied by her cousin Celia, fleeing the court of her uncle, in the quest for security and, eventually, love. They are brought to meet different characters, including Jacques, melancholy traveler present in several plays of Shakespeare, and whose speech “All the world’s stage” is well known.
